BODY MOVEMENTS FESTIVAL

An inclusive, electric haven, Body Movements is a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community to celebrate queer club culture and authenticity in all its forms. Taking over Hackney Wick from 30th – 31st of July for two days of creative freedom and unrestricted self-expression – it didn’t disappoint.

Before the festival, we caught up with Body Movement’s founder Saoirse, community organiser June Lam and Vogue artist Jay Jay Revlon about the importance of queer nightlife spaces and club culture.

INSIDE THE FESTIVAL

DM’s teamed up with Polyester – a self-published platform that showcases intersectional feminist fashion and culture – to capture the day. Check out content from producer Rachelle Cox, dancer and model Jugu, ballroom dancer Ayo B and model and creator Dodo Potato to see what went down and how they rocked their DM’s.

For as long as our boots and shoes have been rolling off the production line, Dr. Martens have been at the feet of the LGBTQIA+ community. And they shaped who we are today. We chat to lesbian fashion columnist Eleanor about style within queer spaces.

FOR PRIDE

As part of our commitment support the community, we donate to LGBTQIA+ charities across the globe. Check out what we've been up to.
