To celebrate Pride 2023, we've collaborated with artist and illustrator Wednesday Holmes (they/them). Wednesday has reimagined our traditional 1460 boot as symbol of queer joy. Their anthropomorphised illustrations include the trans symbol, an inclusive Pride flag, and their signature positive messages on the backstrap of each 8-eye boot. Constructed from our classic Smooth Leather in black and white. Set on a heritage DMS sole. Finished with black and white laces and yellow welt stitch. Marked as DM's with a scripted heel loop. 

  • Born on 01.04.60. Named the 1460 boot. Over six decades, our 8-eye work boot has become iconic. ​
  • Hardwearing and famously tough, our Smooth leather can be polished to shine or scuffed-up. It's up to you. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish. ​
  • A pillar of DM's construction. Our Original and most recognisable sole. Marked by a traditional DMS tread and grooving pattern unique to Dr. Martens. One of our most flexible soles, well known for its comfort and stability. 
  • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at up to 700˚C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch. ​
