Details

Over the years, we’ve utilised a rich archive of premium materials to bring our silhouettes to life. This 1460 boot is expertly handcrafted in England to ensure the life of those materials is as long as possible. Built from a patchwork of soft Kudu Classic leather and Repello Calf suede from C. F. Stead, heavyweight Cavalier leather from Horween, and rugged Abandon leather. The upper has stitched toecap detailing and is punched with randomised eyelets in black, antique gold and gunmetal. Each boot has a black and gold heel loop and a Deadstock swing tag. Our grooved trans DMS sole is secured with yellow welt stitching.

  • Kudu Classic leather is soft and malleable. Clean it with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam
  • Repello Calf is a rugged fine-grade suede treated with Scotch Guard finish for enhanced protection against water and other stains — from the first wear to the last. Care with a Dr. Martens Suede Brush

Material

This Dead Stock mix includes Cavalier leather, Denver Veg Tan leather, Repello Calf suede, and Buck suede. Denver Veg Tan is a heavyweight full-grain leather from Chicago tannery Horween, with high oil levels that produce a deep pull-up and a supple hand feel. Cavalier leather is also from Horween, with a smooth appearance and a waxy finish. Buck suede is a premium suede renowned for its bright colours. Repello Calf is a rugged, fine-grade suede treated with a Scotch Guard finish for enhanced protection against water and other stains. Both suedes are produced by Leeds tannery C. F. Stead.

Care Instructions

Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth only - do not use any proprietary leather cleaner, allow to dry brush with a soft brush - or proprietary suede/nubuck brush.
