Details

Our two-tone Arcadia leather has become a Docs classic, favoured for its rub-off finish which ages and marks with wear. This season, we've kicked it up a notch. The new alternative Chain Emboss boot is embossed with a hard-hitting skull and chain pattern, created in Camden by our in-house design team. The boots are marked with silver accents and welted on a smoke DMS sole.

  • Born on 01.04.60. Named the 1460. Over six decades, our 8-eye work boot has become iconic
  • Arcadia Chain Emboss is a high-shine two-tone leather embossed with an intertwining chain and skull pattern. Over time, the top layer will rub off to reveal the contrast colour underneath
  • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch

Material

Classic hi-shine, two-tone rub off leather with original Dr. Martens chain emboss. The two-tone effect is created in the final shoeroom treatment to reveal the contrast colour of the embossed chain.

Care Instructions

Clean away dirt using a damp cloth and allow to dry, then apply a Dr. Martens Neutral or colour wax shoe polish as appropriate to restore shine as desired. Do not use any leather cleaners as they could damage the two-tone effect.

Construction

Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
