The Made In England Kilsby has our iconic AirWair bouncing sole, that’s oil-and-fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance—and has been since 1960. This shoe is Goodyear-welted, meaning the upper and sole are sewn together in our heat-sealed z-welt stitch for enhanced comfort. The Kilsby is made with Arcadia, a classic, high-shine rub-off leather, giving a two-tone effect.

Material
A high-shine leather with a base dye and contrasting topcoat, which is rubbed off to reveal the underlying colour.
Care Instructions
Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry apply a Dr. Martens clear or colour wax based shoe polish as appropriate to restore shine as desired. Do not use any leather cleaners on this leather they could damage the two-tone effect.
Construction
This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
