I wear platforms because they not only make me feel taller, but they also give me an attitude that I wouldn’t have without them. They have the power to elevate any outfit on their own and they make me feel like I’ll be able to take on any situation. I can’t wait for concerts to happen again, so that I can go to them with my Jadon Max boots and be tall enough to not only see the stage, but also to go in the middle of the mosh pit without getting stepped on! “EVER SINCE I FIRST TRIED ON DR. My favourite thing about this boot is its matte finish, monochrome colours and vegan material. It goes with a lot of different outfits, and it’s easy to accessorize while staying true to the DM’s spirit. This past year, music has kept my spirits up and made me realise there’s just so much more out there to discover every day. I also get a lot of inspiration in my style from the world of Hip-Hop, and in this outfit I’ve tried to mix pieces from several eras in order to make a simple, minimalist outfit.

I used to wear the original 1461’s as school shoes, so to wear the platform version a few years later and style them without the uniform was super fun. I think people shy away from wearing brown and black together, but I wanted to show that DMs go with everything, even brown suit trousers. Then the pastel blue turtleneck makes the entire look casual.

Docs make me switch up my style in a new way. I would define my style as a mix of chic and street. But the most important thing about my style is that I want to be comfortable at any cost. The trousers and the long sleeves are some of my favourites right now and suit these platforms perfectly.

I'm wearing the 1461 Quad shoes in white. What I like about these is you can style them in different outfits. It doesn’t matter which style you relate to. Sometimes I feel classy and sometimes I want to be bold and wear streetwear, it fits with everything and the confidence Docs give me in every outfit is my most important thing. When this is all over, I will rock these platform shoes everywhere to let the people see.

With my style, I like the term "more is more". Normally I wear them with a big fluffy jacket and some leather look or printed trousers, but I can wear my platforms with everything. There has not been one single time where they did not fit my outfit. I could even wear them with my pyjamas and feel confident. At the moment, I dress up even when I go to the grocery store – it's such a mood booster. I can't wait to wear them to work, at a festival or at any other occasion where I can dance and be me.
