Dr. Martens x Hender Scheme is a collision of two iconic shoemakers. Ryo Kashiwazaki reworks our 1461 shoe with the brand’s signature Natural Veg Tan leather.A six-decade-old shoe, as you’ve never seen it before. A fringed kiltie in Hender Scheme’s signature veg tan has transformed our classic 3-eye silhouette. Handcrafted in England to the highest standards, the Hender Scheme 1461 is kitted out with a matching veg tan heel tab and laces and as well as yellow welt stitching and an AirWair heel loop. The shoe arrives in a bespoke dual-branded box, complete with a branded kiltie wallet.

- Vintage Smooth is a retro edition of our signature Smooth leather with subtle grained effect and contrast base colour. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish
- Natural Veg Tan is a premium cowhide that develops a patina over time
- Made in England at our original Wollaston factory
- Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch
- Includes spare black laces and kiltie fringe
