A founding member of Sonic Youth, Kim Gordon — ‘the godmother of grunge’ — was a countercultural icon of music and attitude in the 80s and 90s. When she and Daisy von Furth launched X-Girl in 1994, they started a rebellion against mainstream clothing and paved the way for a new kind of girls’ clothing. Our new 1461 shoes are made with the same rebellious spirit. Set on a double-height Bex platform, the shoes are built from two-tone black and green leather and tagged with branded laces and a gunmetal dog tag. The platform shoes are finished with a dual-branded sock liner and bespoke X-Girl packaging. 

  • Second off the DM’s production line, the 1461 is a 3-eye shoe championed for its versatility 
  • Hardwearing and famously tough, our Smooth leather can be polished to shine or scuffed-up. It’s up to you. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish 
  • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch

    Ta bort smuts med en fuktig trasa och låt torka, applicera sedan Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam, neutral eller färgad skokräm med Dr. Martens skoborste efter behov (Neutral skokräm kan appliceras på alla färger). Låt torka och borsta sedan ordentligt med en ren Dr. Martens skoborste tills du uppnår önskad glans. (Vi rekommenderar att du använder två borstar per färg, en för att applicera skokrämen och en andra, ren borste, för att borsta och polera lädret för bästa resultat).
