This is the Averil, a 6-eye padded collar boot. Inspired by heavy duty hiking boots, the boot serves up extra height and street cred in the form of a chunky high heel, padded collar and thick, ridged air cushioned sole — and extra style with stitching detail.

  • Retains classic Docs DNA, like a groove-edged sole, yellow stitching and a scripted heel-loop
  • Built on the iconic Dr. Martens AirWair™ air-cushioned soles
  • Made with Arcadia, a high-shine cherry-red leather with a two-toned effect
  • Heel height is 3 1/2", with a 1" platform

Material

A high-shine leather with a base dye and contrasting topcoat, which is rubbed off to reveal the underlying color.

Care Instructions

Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or correct colored wax based shoe polish. Buff with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush to restore shine as desired. We do not recommend the use of leather cleaners as they could damage the two-tone effect.

Cemented - the sole is cemented to the upper, a durable and flexible construction for all day comfort.
