First made in the mid-'60s, the 3989 Brogue shoe features a unique combo of wingtip style with AirWair Bouncing Soles - a rebellious union of proper menswear and counterculture attitude. This version is hand-crafted in our Northhamptonshire factory with a high-shine Boanil Brush leather.

  • Built on the iconic Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole, which is oil and fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance

Material

Hi Shine Classic 2 tone rub off leather - the 2 tone effect is created in the final shoeroom treatment to reveal contrast colour particulary in toe and counter area.

Care Instructions

Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry apply a Dr.Martens clear or colour wax based shoe polish as appropriate to restore shine as desired. Do not use any leather cleaners on this leather they could damage the 2 tone effect.

Construction

Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
