We’ve reunited with Rick Owens for another dose of the dark, industrial grunge-glamour that defines our collaborations. The formidable 1918 boot has 18 eyelets and dramatic wraparound pearl lacing. Our heel loop is also signed with pearl script. The boot is fitted with an extra-tall tongue and is built from supple Lunar leather, which lends unexpected softness. The boot stands on our inflated DMXL sole — one of the first designs to emerge from our experimental new design category 14XX, where we push the boundaries of our brand DNA. Exaggerating our classic construction, the sole combines lightweight EVA with durable PVC pods. It’s marked with DM’s grooving and secured with our unmistakable yellow welt stitching.

  • Lunar is a soft, full grain Nappa leather with a milled finish. Care with Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam.

    Care Instructions

    Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam to the outside of your footwear to keep the leather supple, strong and smooth.
