Our 1460 boot constructed from rub-off Arcadia captures the spirit of boots that are sun-baked and beaten up from a summer of festivals. Arcadia is a two-tone leather which reveals more of the color pop undertone over time. Set on our traditional DMS trans sole with our iconic yellow welt stitch. The 8-eye boot is kitted out with silver hardware and finished with an AirWair heel loop.

  • Born on 1st April 1960. Named the 1460 boot. Our 8-eye boot is unmistakable. Remixed and redefined — never replicated
  • Arcadia is a high-shine leather with a base dye and contrasting topcoat, which rubs off over time to reveal the underlying color
  • The DMS sole is a cornerstone of Dr. Martens construction. A two-tone PVC sole marked with our signature grooving and our unique tread. One of our most flexible soles, well known for its comfort and stability
  • Construction - Made with a Goodyear-welted lines that are heat-sealed and reinforced with our signature welt stitch

Material

A high-shine leather with a base dye and contrasting topcoat, which is rubbed off to reveal the underlying color.

Care Instructions

Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or correct colored wax based shoe polish. Buff with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush to restore shine as desired. We do not recommend the use of leather cleaners as they could damage the two-tone effect.

Construction

Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
