First made in the mid-'60s, the 3989 Brogue shoe features a unique combo of wingtip style with AirWair Bouncing Soles - a rebellious union of proper menswear and counterculture attitude. This season, we've amped up the fall fashion factor with slick wool-meets-leather style.

  • Wool underlay paneling provides a smart contrast to rich, black leather
  • Vintage brass eyelets
  • Contrast leather welt, with classic Doc's visible stitching
  • Made with Temperley, a smooth, analine leather with a burnished finish
  • Serves up tons of Doc's DNA, like grooved edges
  • Built to last, it's made using one of the finest methods of construction: the Goodyear Welt — which means the upper and sole are sewn together in our heat-sealed z-welt stitch
  • Sits on our durable, comfortable AirWair™ sole, that's oil and fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance
