A decade ago, we teamed up with Hello Kitty for a joint birthday celebration/collaboration. The Japanese brand was celebrating 50 years of alternative Harajuku attitude, while we marked 50 years of the 1460 boot. Ten years on and, naturally, we both have new anniversaries to celebrate. The two brands are overdue a reunion. The new Dr. Martens x Hello Kitty collection fuses tough DM's silhouettes with colourful Sanrio motifs. Our towering 1461 Quad shoe is built from black patent leather with asymmetrical Hello Kitty heart designs on either foot, as well as a statement dual-branded tag and metal aglet laces. Docs DNA is cemented with an AirWair heel loop and yellow welt stitching.
