This is the Newton: an iconic Dr. Martens style for a new generation. All the essential DNA from our 8-eye silhouette remains, like yellow stitching, grooved sides, and heel loop. But the Newton is a super lightweight evolution, with a modern, sleek silhouette.

This Newton is made modern with a mix of materials: a matte velvet-feel leather with a micro-honeycomb pattern, and a high-tech ripstop woven material.

  • Retains classic Doc's DNA, like grooved sides, visible stitching and scripted heel-loop
  • Built with a DM's Lite sole: a lightweight, Phylon midsole with a slimline rubber outsole, with good abrasion and slip resistance
  • Contains a wicking SoftWair™ insole, keeping the foot dry and providing maximum comfort
  • Made with a modern mix of Broder, a velvet-feel leather with a micro-honeycomb patter, and a high-tech Diamond Rip Stop woven material
