NEWCASTLE

Indie’s most charismatic up-and-coming band, King Nun have an air of brilliant chaos about them. London’s hottest four piece recently made a comeback after some time off and are set to release their long-awaited debut EP in November via Dirty Hit.

The band are fresh from supporting label-mates Pale Waves in massive venues around the country, ahead of their own forthcoming UK headline tour. King Nun’s energetic live antics, and the ear-bending adrenaline-fuelled melodies of their early recordings like Hung Around and Sponge, all point to a band that is not afraid to take their music with a refreshing pinch of fun.

Their raucous brand of punk has earned them admirers in all corners of the indie-rock press, securing play-listings on BBC Radio 1 and a place on DIY’s Class of 2018 tour. Signed to Dirty Hit, the label behind incredible success stories like The 1975 and Wolf Alice, King Nun have all the hallmarks of impending greatness.
