Loud with heritage. Our 1461 Double Stitch boot is a celebration of a six-decades-strong design. Built from a tough Smooth Slice leather and detailed with contrast white double-stitching – this hard-hitting boot is built to stand out in a crowd. Stacked on a 1.3” Bex, a more rugged and hardwearing edition of our classic DMS sole.

  • Born on 01.04.60. Named the 1460. Over six decades, our 8-eye work boot has become iconic
  • Smooth Slice is the original Docs Smooth leather with added character. The base colour is different to the top — showing a pop of contrasting colour underneath
  • Hardwearing and famously tough, our Smooth leather can be polished to shine or scuffed-up. It’s up to you. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish
  • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch

Care Instructions

Clean away dirt using a damp cloth and allow to dry, then apply Dr.Martens Neutral or coloured wax polish as appropriate, using a Dr.Martens shoe brush. Allow to dry, then buff vigorously to desired shine using a second clean Dr.Martens shoe brush.

Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
