With decades of punk heritage echoing in its loud, clashing patterns, tartan is Dr. Martens through and through. Here we've infused our 1460 boot with some riotous alternative spirit: McMarten Tartan, a mythological pattern said to be first manufactured in the 17th Century in Wollaston, the town of our original factory. The boots are finished with our signature air-cushioned sole, yellow welt stitching and AirWair heel loop.
- Born on 1/4/60. Named the 1460. Over six decades, our 8-eye boot has become iconic
- Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch
- Built with core Dr. Martens DNA: grooved edges, an AirWair heel loop and visible welt stitching
