Our 5th collaboration with streetwear heavyweight Undercover. Taking our 1461 as his canvas, Jun Takahashi has crafted a punk-inspired yet minimalist collection of shoes.

The 1461 Undercover Emboss shoe has landed. Undercover’s signature minimalist style meets our subcultural classic silhouette. Built from Patent Lamper leather, the 1461 Undercover Emboss is handcrafted at our original Wollaston factory. Our paralleled punk heritage can be seen across the vamp and heel in the form of loud statement embossment — with Docs DNA weaved through our Goodyear-welted construction and Vintage Trans DMS sole.

  • Patent Lamper is a fine-grained leather, coated to give a high shine, glossy finish. Clean with a damp cloth and restore its shine with Dr. Martens Patent Cleaner
  • BALANCE’, ‘CHAOS’, and ‘WE MAKE NOISE NOT CLOTHES’ embossed across vamp and heel
  • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch

Material

A leather with a classic patent effect.

Care Instructions

Wipe away dirt with a damp cloth. Spray Dr. Martens Patent Leather Cleaner evenly on to footwear wiping off any excess with a clean cloth. Once dry, buff vigorously to desired shine with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush.

Construction

Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
