Details

For decades, individuals and tribes have modified their Docs boots and bags with bolt-on pieces of hardware. Now customization is in our DNA. This new collection pays tribute to that DIY spirit and alternative heritage. The silhouettes are recognizable, but the detailing is freeform. This 1461 shoe is covered with printed graphics that look hand-customized. Built on a Smoke AirWair sole, the shoes are finished with white laces and our signature yellow welt stitching.

  • Second off the DM’s production line, the 1461 is a 3-eye shoe championed for its versatility
  • Backhand is full-grain leather that’s comfortable and soft to the touch
  • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch
  • Built with core Dr. Martens DNA: grooved edges, an AirWair heel loop and visible welt stitching

Construction

Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
