You and your boots are in it for the long haul. You’ll get out what you put in. So, nourish, hydrate and soften them regularly and you’ll be together for years.
Battered or still in the box, your Doc’s footwear will benefit from some special attention by way of Wonder Balsam. It contains beeswax and mineral oils to bring a super softness that will retain, not change, the character of your boots.
“The more wax you use and the more you work it in, the more juicy and shiny your boots are gonna look,” says Doc’s Care Specialist, Michelle Engert. “So, if you don't want too much of a box-fresh look, use less wax.”
Use your balsam together with Dubbin Wax – a more intensive conditioning and waterproofing treatment - for a level of protection that really will lengthen the life of your partners in crime.
Great for regular use: our experts recommend waxing every one to three months.
You won’t need wax for vegan-friendly products, Genix Nappa, suede, nubuck
or patent.
