DIY DOCS TOUR
The DIY Docs Customization Tour continued around the US with stops in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Miami. Each city celebrated other events in addition to customizations, from new murals to new stores, making them even more memorable and impactful.
In celebration of completing our new mural at the Wicker Park store, we bought our DIY Docs tour to Chicago. The event featured store muralist Hailey Losselyong and local artists Amanda How and Oscar Joyo. All three added their distinct art to a ton of Docs while our wearers enjoyed some more local flair with a pop-up coffee shop: Monday Coffee Club, and music from Chicago DJ Ryan the Person.

We opened a new store in Philly near our previous location. To commemorate the opening, we celebrated with the DIY Docs tour and a mural unveiling—created by the original store's muralist, Brad Carney. In addition to being a community artist, Brad is also an educator at Mural Arts Philadelphia. Two of his students joined the customization tour as well and put their own unique spin on DM's for excited attendees.

Our first Miami store opened in February 2020, and due to global shutdowns, we were unable to host a proper store opening. Better late than never, we took the DIY Docs tour south for a belated opening celebration. Featured artists included designer and illustrator Alexandra Floresmeyer and painter and sculptor Alex Yanes. Both artists provided colorful customizations to wearer's DM's that truly embodied Miami's vibrant and eclectic scene.
