- I work as a restaurant manager 40-60 hours a week on my feet. Finding stylish slip resistant footwear can be very difficult. I'm sorry... but I'm not wearing Crocs or sneakers with my dresses and boot cut pants.
I bought the black version, and they are a great dark brown that goes with everything. The heel is just enough lift to make it feel a little more feminine and I can dress them up.
Also... having boots that I can wear thick wool socks with in the winter is a necessity. They keep my warm and comfortable while working in a building from the late 1700s. Can you say drafty?
I am a size 6.5 in shoes. Sometimes I have to go up to a 7 because my feet are wide. I bought the boots in a size 6 and they are a perfect fit.
These boots checked off all of my requirements.
- Slip & Oil Resistant
- Warm with layers
I will buy them again in the future.
- Like other buyers said, these boots are very stiff when you first get them. I wore them for three straight 10 hour shifts in a row and had some soreness on the front of my ankle. But by the fourth day the leather was already worn in - making them much more comfortable.
That's truly my only complaint.
