DR. MARTENS X SEX PISTOLS

The Sex Pistols revolutionary but combustible two-and-a-half-year career was charged with engineered chaos. When they tore into television host Bill Grundy live on-air in 1976, the UK spiralled into outrage. The explosive daytime interview catapulted the Pistol’s career whilst simultaneously ending Grundy’s. The public’s eyes were opened to a new attitude in music.

Our new collaboration is a tribute to the headlines that documented the day the Pistols blew up. Detailed with historical music imagery, our 1461 shoe is printed with “THE FILTH AND THE FURY” newsprint and our black 1460 boot is emblazoned with ‘Sex Pistols’, ‘Anarchy’ and ‘God Save The Queen’ lettering across the upper.
