APPRENTICESHIP: LEARNING THE CRAFT OF FOOTWEAR MAKING

Through its apprenticeship programme, Dr. Martens continues to teach shoemaking skills at its original Cobbs Lane factory in Wollaston, Northamptonshire.

This boot was designed and made by apprentice, Gemma, Class of 2020. Each apprentice completes a final footwear project, showcasing their skills and creativity. A quarter of our Made in England staff now are graduate apprentices from the programme.
