1461 Phoenix Vintage Smooth Leather Shoes

Symbolism expressed in form. The 1461 Phoenix 3-eye shoe captures the spirit of the phoenix: resilience, strength and renewal. Using the original 1461 shoe’s silhouette as a canvas, we applied black Vintage Smooth leather with a unique red print etched in. And retained classic DM’s features: a scripted heel loop, yellow welt stitching and a smoke DMS sole with classic grooving.

Vintage Smooth

Vintage Smooth leather is an antique take on our classic Smooth leather, with a contrasting base colour and more grainy detailing for a worn-in look.

Material care

Clean away dirt using a damp cloth and allow to dry, then apply Dr.Martens Neutral or coloured wax polish as appropriate, using a Dr.Martens shoe brush, (Neutral can be applied to all colours). Allow to dry, then buff vigorously to desired shine using a second clean Dr.Martens shoe brush. (We advise to use 2 brushes per colour, one to add the polish and the second, clean dry brush, to buff up the leather for the best results).
