Made by us. Made unique by you. Our brush off styles are designed to reflect the personality of their wearer. Built from a bold colour palette of black, yellow, green and blue which age and change the more they’re worn, the reimagined 1461 shoe is the ultimate symbol of self-expression. Features gunmetal trims and classic cord laces alongside our calling cards: yellow welt stitching and an AirWair heel loop.

  • Second off the DM's production line. Designed for workshops and factory floors — elevated on streets and stages. The 1461 shoe is a 3-eye silhouette championed for its versatility.
  • Rub Off and Brush Off leathers have a distinctive two-tone appearance which can be high-shine or matte. The effect is achieved by covering the base dye with a contrasting topcoat which gradually rubs off over time — leaving a pattern that’s unique to every wearer.
  • The DMS sole is a cornerstone of Dr. Martens construction. A two-tone PVC sole marked with our signature grooving and our unique tread.
  • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed and reinforced with our signature welt stitch.

Care Instructions

Clean away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry. Care should be taken when using any cleaners, as this could impact the 2 tone effect. Do not use any leather cleaners on this leather they could damage the 2 tone effect.

Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
