Details

When our design team unearths a unique pair of original Doc's in a Japanese second-hand store — and are immediately inspired to bring back the style — you know you're in for some serious style. This is the result: a 1461 serving up sophisticated details like striking yet functional ghillie lacing and serrated gimping.

  • Retains classic Doc's DNA, like grooved edges and yellow stitching
  • Ghillie lacing
  • Serrated gimping
  • Built on our durable, comfortable air-cushioned sole, that's oil and fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance

Material

A retro version of our signature smooth leather with subtle grained effect and contrast base color.

Care Instructions

Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or correct colored wax based shoe polish. Buff with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush to restore shine as desired. We do not recommend the use of leather cleaners as they could damage the two-tone effect.

Construction

Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
