Terms & Conditions – Square Toe Competition (the “Competition”).
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. By participating in the Competition, you (i) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the Promoter (as defined below), which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Competition.
Airwair International Limited (registered company number 03009359) whose registered office is at Cobbs Lane, Wollaston, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom NN29 7SW (“the Promoter”) is the organiser of the Competition.
The Promoter is running the Competition at the Dr Marten Carnaby Store only at 48 Carnaby Street, London, W1F 9PX (the “Store”)
Entrants must follow all the instructions in the Store for the Competition to be eligible to enter and win. To be eligible entrants must complete the form in the Store which includes providing their first name, email address and by subscribing to the Dr. Martens newsletter. Entrants may unsubscribe from the Dr Martens newsletter at any time.
One (1) entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. Entries will be accepted from 1:00pm (BST) on 29th August 2024 up until 1:00pm (BST) on 2nd of October 2024. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered.
The Competition is open to entrants aged 18+ who are residents of UK only.
The prize for winning the Competition is one pair of Dr. Martens boots, shoes, sandals up the value of £200.00 (the “Prize”). Prize excludes limited edition collaborations and Made In England products.
Prize will be allocated as follows: one entrant who has submitted a valid entry will be drawn at random from the pool (the ‘Winner’). The Winner will receive the Prize. The draw will be held on 3rd of October 2024. Any personal tax obligation that arises as a result of the granting of the Prize will be the sole responsibility of the Winner and the Promoter will not be liable in respect of any such tax obligation. Entries which are defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, abusive, threatening or offensive in any way shall be excluded from the Competition. The Promoter’s decision is final.
Prize is non-assignable and non-transferable except to a surviving spouse. Prize is not for resale.
The Winner will be contacted via email no later than 3:00pm (BST) on 3rd of October 2024. The winner will have 72 hours to respond and claim its prize, as detailed in the email. Failure to do so will result in another winner being drawn from the pool of entrants. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incorrect or misspelt contact information submitted by an entrant. No liability is accepted for entries that cannot be counted for any technical reason.
The Winner will need to confirm their delivery address to the Promotor and the Promotor will arrange for the Prize to be delivered to the delivery address provided.
Each entrant’s details, which includes their first name and email address, shall be retained by the Promoter until 31st of December 2024, after which it shall be deleted (unless the entrant has subscribed to the Promoter’s newsletter, in which case the Promoter shall retain the entrant’s full name and email address).
Employees or agents of the Promoter, their family members, or anyone else connected with the Competition may not enter the Competition.
The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside of its control. The decision of the Promoter in all matters under its control is final and binding. The Competition will be governed by the law of England and Wales.
The Promoter is not responsible if the Competition cannot take place or if the Prize cannot be awarded due to cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of war (declared or undeclared), natural disasters, weather, acts of terrorism, riot or civil disturbance, satellite or equipment failure, federal state or local government law, order or regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within the Promoter’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence).
Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Promoter is not responsible for: (i) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (ii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to death, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Competition or receipt or use of the Prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by applicable law.
Behaviour which is intended to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Competition, or which is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, or any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions, may result in disqualification from the Competition, and Promoter reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person engaging in such behaviour to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Promoter reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from the Competition any person it believes has intentionally violated these Terms and Conditions; and (ii) cancel, suspend and/or modify the Competition without any liability if any fraud, virus or other factor beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control impairs the administration, functioning or proper play of the Competition, as determined by Promoter in its sole discretion, and withdraw the online method of entry if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Competition), and to select winner from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances.
The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or in association with, Instagram, Facebook nor TikTok. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Instagram, Facebook nor TikTok and by participating in the Competition you agree to a complete release of Instagram, Facebook or TikTok from any claims.

The Promoter shall comply with its obligations under the terms of any applicable data protection legislation, including but not limited to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the UK Data Protection Act 2018; and the EU Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive (2002/58/EC).
The Competition and these Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with them are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising from the Competition and these Terms and Conditions.
