Exploding into the New York art scene in the early 80s, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s legacy and presence is still alive today. Printing our 1460 boot with one of his most celebrated pieces, ‘Untitled’ (1982) we’re paying tribute to the man that changed how the world looked at art. Artwork is printed across the Smooth leather quarters and sock liner and is detailed with Basquiat’s symbolic crown motif on the backstrap. Finished with our iconic black and yellow scripted heel loop, sole pad print and a standout lace jewel. And arrives in bespoke packaging. 

  • Born on 01.04.60. Named the 1460. Over six decades, our 8-eye work boot has become iconic 
  • Hardwearing and famously tough, our Smooth leather can be polished to shine or scuffed-up. It’s up to you. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Ultra Protector
  • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch
