Details

Details

These new boots take cues from Japanese souvenir (Sukajan) jackets, popular with dissident Japanese youths in the 40s and 50s. Back then, the DIY jackets were embroidered with illustrations, graphics and markings that meant something to the wearer. And this pair is no different.

  • Born on 01.04.60. Named the 1460. Over six decades, our 8-eye work boot has become iconic
  • Nappa is the softest leather in our archive: pliable and easy to wear in, with a natural smooth texture. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish

Material

A lightweight, milled leather, which gives a soft, luxurious handle and appearance.

Care Instructions

Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or correct colored wax based shoe polish. Buff with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush to restore shine as desired.

Construction

Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
