Details
It was 1904 when CF Stead started producing leathers, and since then the Leeds-based tannery has built up a worldwide reputation for their exceptional hides. And we should know: we’ve been using them nonstop since the 70s. This season we’ve taken their supple, full-grain Kudu and manufactured a sophisticated two-tone take on our classic 1461 shoe. Finished with flat waxed laces, brushed gold eyelets and a tan leather lining, these shoes are made in England to the highest standards.
- Second off the DM’s production line, the 1461 is a 3-eye shoe championed for its versatility
- Kudu Classic leather is soft and malleable. Clean it with a damp cloth and care for it with Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam
- Made in England at our original Wollaston factory. Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch
