First made in the mid-'60s, the 3989 Brogue shoe features a unique combo of wingtip style with AirWair™ Bouncing Soles — a rebellious union of proper menswear and counterculture attitude. Now, it's taken a toughly feminine turn, with a removable kiltie and an allover silvery shine.

An iconic style, this 3989 still serves up classic Doc's DNA, like grooved edges and yellow stitching. Built to last, this shoe is made using one of the finest methods of construction: the Goodyear Welt. It sits on our iconic AirWair™ sole, which is oil and fat resistant, with good abrasion and slip resistance. Finally, it's made with Santos, a naturally tumbled, soft leather with a metallic coating.
