The best way to describe my personal style is creative and free. By experimenting with fashion, I like to break down stereotypes. This style is my favourite holiday classic. A long sleeve roll neck, tacked in black wide trousers and a pair of Jadon boots.

I usually take on more hours during the holiday season and this year will be the first where I won’t be working as much. I have a lot of art projects to keep me busy at home, and a few pairs of Docs I’ve been waiting to draw on and customise. My festive playlist is always Someday at Christmas by The Jackson 5, Merry Christmas Baby by Otis Redding, and At Last by Etta James. Not necessarily in that order, but I have to play these three songs and basically everything else from those artists - and only at this time of year.

My style is a mix of urban fashion and vintage clothing. On a day to day basis, my go to shoes would be the Jadon Max. But as much as I love my platforms, when it comes to the holiday season, the 1460 Chroma boot is the one. Because the colour is so special, I usually just go for a simple all black or colour blocked outfit so all the focus is on the shoes. They offer me the flexibility I need when putting outfits together.

I will be away from my family for the first time in a long time this year. I’ll probably be spending my time listening to the new Wizkid album and of course the classic Mariah Carey “Merry Christmas” record. In these sad times, my Docs are a daily reminder of the crazy part of me that I love. The rebel that keeps on pushing.

I’m known as that small girl with coloured hair, who always wears platforms. So these docs match my personality perfectly: they’re colourful, they’re platforms, and they’re definitely making a statement. I wanted to show that you can still wear badass boots while dressing up with a nice dress and a fancy faux fur coat. I’ll absolutely be rocking this look on New Year's Eve!

For the holidays this year, I don’t mind having an excuse to stay inside. I’ll gather with only my closest loved ones, enjoy a big home-cooked meal and probably spend a good amount of time playing board games.

I'd describe my personal style as natural and relaxed. Feeling comfortable in my clothes is the most important thing to me. These Docs are timeless. The oxblood red is signature Dr. Martens style and it’s always going to stay a classic, no matter what. I like to wear them with an all-black outfit to keep the focus on the shoe. That way they stand out even more.
