Ring it in, wherever you're celebrating. 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, and we’re marking it in with DM’s wearers from all over the world. Our new Lunar New Year shoe swaps out our iconic markings for ‘lucky’ red and gold accents at the welt stitching and heel loop. Built from tough Smooth leather, the 1461 3-eye boots are decked out with matching gold D rings and aglets. They're welted on a special red edition of our classic air-cushioned outsole.
- Second off the DM’s production line, the 1461 is a 3-eye shoe championed for its versatility
- Wanama is a lightweight leather with a satin-sheen finish. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish
- Hardwearing and famously tough, our Smooth leather can be polished to shine or scuffed-up. It's up to you. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish
- A pillar of DM’s construction. Our Original and most recognisable sole. A height of 1.25" — marked by traditional DMS tread pattern that's unique to Dr. Martens. One of our most flexible soles, well known for its comfort and stability.

Care Instructions
Clean Away dirt using a damp cloth, allow to dry apply a Dr. Martens clear or colour wax based shoe polish as appropriate to restore shine as desired. Do not use any leather cleaners on this leather they could damage the two-tone effect.
Construction
This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
