What is the 1461 challenge?

 

To celebrate the 60 years of our Original 1461 shoe, we’re inviting DM’s fans to join the “What’s Your 1461 Story?” challenge to create Instagram content about their experiences with our iconic shoe. From pit to stage, dancing or marching, inside or out, we want to hear what you’ve got up to in your 1461’s over the years.

 

Where is the challenge hosted?

 

We’ve partnered with a company called Pukket who will be hosting the challenge and consequently you as well. As a result of this If you want to join the challenge, you’ll will be required to follow their T&Cs as set out on their site if you wish to participate in the challenge. In addition, if you experience any issues using the Pukket platform you’ll will need to contact them directly.

 

Is there a reward for producing content?

If the content you produce fits the brief, rules and T&Cs, you'll be rewarded with points which you can then spend on DM’s rewards.

 

How do I take part in the challenge?

If you’ve have been invited to take part in the challenge, then you’ll receive an Instagram comment from one of our official DM’s Instagram accounts (@drmartensofficial, @drmartensusa, @drmartenskr, @drmartens_japan). You’ll then be redirected to the 1461 Challenge page on the Pukket site, if you accept, please fill in your details (including name, email and Instagram handle). Once in you’ll see the 1461 Challenge including the brief, rules and conditions to producing Instagram content about the shoe.
 

What if I have not been invited to take part?

Don’t worry, you can still apply to take part in the challenge. All you have to do is visit https://www.drmartens.com/uk/en_gb/1461-challenge and follow the instructions entering your details via Pukket. If your application is unsuccessful, it will be because we will have reached the maximum number of sign-ups. Again, don’t worry, we’ll store your details and the next time we run a challenge you’ll be the first to know.
