Legend has it that the 101 boot was initially made for police officers, way back in the 60s (the 6-eye laces were easy to fasten in emergencies). Then the rebels got their hands on it. Shaving two eyelets off the iconic 1460 silhouette, the boot preserves all our unmistakable DNA – visible welt stitching, an AirWair heel loop and a robust air-cushioned sole – but sits lower on the ankle. Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or correct colored wax based shoe polish. Buff with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush to restore shine as desired.
