This subtle, sophisticated Church boot is a Made in England style, hand-crafted by our Cobbs Lane factory in Wollaston, Northamptonshire, England. Considered details, like a stamped leather tag, a ripple sole and premium C.F. Stead leather bring a high-fashion feel — but the iconic stitching and Docs DNA remain.
Our partnership with CF Stead & Co. brings together two British heritage brands for footwear steeped in refined sophistication and history. Founded in 1904, CF Stead is a tannery in Leeds, West Yorkshire specializing in high-quality, imported, naturally-tanned skins — and we've been using their leather since 1970.

Material
A heavyweight leather with a smooth, waxy surface and deep pull-up giving it an antique look.
Care Instructions
Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply Dr. Martens Wonder Balsam to the outside of your footwear to keep the leather supple, strong and smooth. Once dry, buff vigorously to desired shine using a clean Dr. Martens Shoe Brush. Repeat regularly to prolong the life of your footwear.
Construction
Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
