HNL Student of all types
- Well I'm using this boot for SMAW( shielded Metal Arc Welding) & Oxy-Acetylene welding in college and so far it has held up to a bit of SMAW sparks and the abuse that entails. So only time will tell how it holds up to the welding environment. I only get to weld for a few hours twice a week so I can't get a full picture of the abuse that welding will effect this boot. No laces is a plus and the comfort is great. I got a half bigger (I'm a women's 10 1/2 but went for the 11s) but it still feels super duper!
- For welding I called out the rubber toe cap because it might well to be honest most likely get burnt for melted off in time. I'm moving on to welding program soon in a much colder climate state so I will see how it holds up to a harsh winter and more welding abuse.
